Inspired by the wealth and architecture of the area, the iconic live oak trees and the history, NOVEL River Oaks provides approachable luxury living in the wealthiest neighborhood in Texas - River Oaks in Houston.
The Challenge
Develop unique positioning and brand look/feel for NOVEL River Oaks, a Crescent Communities Multi-family development in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Houston and create marketing materials that help build brand awareness and preleasing leads. The audiences vary in life stage, from career-focused and building their wealth as a single or couple, to divorced and ready for a new chapter, to comfortably retired and enjoying their free time. What they have in common is the desire to be in the most prestigious area of Houston, in a community that feels like home but has the conveniences and luxuries that allow them to maximize every moment and spend their time doing what they want, not what they need to do.

Video Concept Storyboard: "You're in your natural element"
I partnered with a senior copywriter to create storyboards for a brand video. The video takes you into a day in the life of the target audiences (the young professional, the retired couple, and the divorced dad) highlighting some amenties of this luxury multifamily residence. Unique features of the residence included a library, a map room, a garden with outdoor space for entertaining, and the central location to high-end shopping. The voiceover elegantly describes each placesetting, touching on the emotions of each the target, and then ties the video back in to the concept of "You're in your natural element."
Video option utilizing stock video
This background video was created as fpo for a client presentation utilizing stock videos, as video production was not scheduled to later in spring. It was important to convey the nature, luxury lifestyle, and the details that make living at Novel River Oaks unique. I cut and edited clips together in Adobe Aftereffects. Client was very happy with the fpo video and used it as a final asset. Plans for video production and photoshoot were halted due to Covid.
